On Tuesday the authorized website of anime version of manga FLIPFLOPs’ Darwin’s Game disclosed the first special video, extra cast, staff, and aired data. In January the anime will debut on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, Yomiuri TV, TV Aichi, BS11, and AT-X. The series will telecast on AbemaTV as it will broadcast and different administrations will telecast it afterward.

The new declared cast members are
- Rain by Nichika Omori
- Ryūji by Taku Yashiro
- Sui/Sōta by Yumiri Hanamori
The series is being aimed at Nexus by Yoshinobu Tokumoto. As prior unveiled the offshoot of FLIPFLOPs named Shū Miyama is writing the contents. The characters are being planned by Kazuya Nakanishi. The music will be formed by Kenichiro Suehiro.
In the anime Yūsuke Kobayashi will be the voice over artist of the character of Kaname and Reina Ueda will provide voice to the character of Shuka.
The story of manga revolves around a boy named Kaname Sudō who is a student in high school and he gets attracted towards a strange game application called Darwin’s Game. He is occupied in this game and this game is very risky in which life or death is on stake.
In December 2012 the manga was issued in Bessatsu Shōnen Champion by FLIPFLOPs and on July 8 the 18th assembled volumes of the manga was issued by Akita Shoten. The story plot of the manga has been given out by Miyama along with the illustrations of Yuki Takahata. There are more than 2 million printed forms of this series.
In 2007 the hilarious manga named Nekogami Yaoyorozu was issued in Akita Shoten’s Champion RED Ichigo magazine by FLIPFLOPs and it was concluded in 2012. 6 volumes of the series were issued by Akita Shoten. In 2011 an anime version was made consisting 12 episodes which was telecast on Crunchyroll with the name Cat God. In 2013 the anime was started as a home video by NIS America having the name The Everyday Tales of a Cat God.
