Globally There Are 460 Million Copies of Manga One Piece in Print Form


On December 28 the 95th volume of manga by Eiichiro Oda will be dispatched and afterward all around this manga will have 450 million duplicates in print structure. The total sum comprise of 390 million duplicates in print structure in Japan and 70 million print structure duplicates gave outside the limit of Japan in around 42 nations.

The 57th One Piece volume had a first printing of 3,000,000 duplicates — a record for manga — in March 2010. Resulting volumes have outperform that record, coming full circle in the manga business’ initial 4,000,000 first printing with the 64th volume in November 2011. Each volume since volume 57 has had a first printing of at least 3,000,000.

Till October 2017 the manga contains 430 million duplicates in print form from which 360 million duplicates are in Japan.

In June 2015 the manga made a world record for containing 320,866,000 copies in print form globally till December 2014. The record is that the same comic series by the same writer have the majority of copies issued.

In 1997 the manga was started by Oda in Weekly Shonen Jump. On December 28 the 95th manga volume will issue in Japan by Shueisha. On November 2 the 92nd volume was launched by Viz Media in English.
