Yakusoku no Neverland (The Promised Neverland) Chapter 15: Review


The Promised

After going through so much Emma and Ray could not stop Norman in executing his plan of having all demons kill each other. The look on Norman’s face depicts the fact that had anticipated. Chapter 153 of Yakusoku no Neverland shows Emma and Ray trying to get to their friends to tell them the reason of why they know about Norman’s real intention towards the plan. Although he tried his level best to kill all demons but what he truly wanted was to not getting failed and letting those down he loves and cares for. Norman has been through a lot while trying to fight the emotions that makes him quit. He wanted to meet all his childhood friends including Emma and Ray and the thought of meeting them is what kept him motivated when he felt week because of experiments and test.  Emma and Rays assures him that they are still his friends and like a family to him. He is not alone, they will help him and with each other support they will change the world. This made Norman burst out in tears and he runs towards his friends and begs them to help him after spending a long time in loneliness.

Now that the three kids are together what will happen next as Norman probably doesn’t have much time left and the entire demon race is going to be eliminated. Here are the details of Chapter 153 of Yakusoku no Neverland.


Norman seemed like an antagonist of Yakusoku no Neverland throughout this time. But the truth is that Norman is basically a scared child who just wanted good for those he cares for and did what according to him was best for them. Norman has been tormented the most amongst all in the series and this chapter made us feel his pain and joy he had after getting reunited with his friends.

Although Emma and Ray failed to achieve what they struggled for and Norman have not much time left but the most important thing that happened in this chapter is the theses three friends getting together. Now that the trio is back they will be working alongside rather against each other. They are strong and powerful when they work together and can make things right in this messy world for a better future.

Despite of running out of time, it feels like things are going to get better and it will be a good ending since the trio is back. They have to save the reaming demons while not getting into trouble themselves. There is also something behind the fact that Norman is about to die and Emma wished for something that has some consequences. Probably it will be revealed soon.

Yakusoku no Neverland is getting closer to the climax and as it moves forward, it makes us more curious and about the upcoming chapters.
