7 Net Anime Shorts by Studio Colorido For Pokémon Sword/Shield Games


On Friday it was disclosed by Nintendo that its role playing game named Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Nintendo Switch will include a series of seven net anime shorts named Hakumei no Tsubasa by Studio Colorido. On January 15 the primary episode will premiere on YouTube and afterward every month a new episode will be premiered.

The anime story is collection of dramas and emotions in which the audience will witness the efforts and clash of young people staying in the Galar district.

The anime is being directed at Shingo Yamashita. The script is being written by Sawa Kinoshita, and the script is being managed by Taku Kishimoto. The characters designer is Shin Ogasawara. The designer of colors is Izumi Hirose and the art direction is done by Yūsuke Takeda and Takamasa Masuki. The 3DCG supervisor is Masato Takahashi. The direction of photography is being done by Katsuhito Ogawa. The sound direction is done by Masafumi Mima.

On November 15 the game was dispatched globally for the switch. In its starting week the games vended 2 million units in Japan. It was also declared by Nintendo that the games vended more than 2 million copies in U.S in its first two days which noted that it was the highest grossing release for a Pokémon game in the U.S. In its primary week the game vended more than six million units globally. Collectively the Pokémon Sword/Shield marks the history for having highest sales at the primary week of a Switch game and the fastest Switch game and vended 6 million units.
